Relaxation and enjoyment in beautiful natural surroundings – in a nutshell, this is the experience of golfing in the Amsterdamsche Veld. Based on a master plan comprising 27 holes, the Green Meet*s Golf course is being constructed in phases. The first two phases have seen the completion of the course for the short game and the Executive Course, respectively.
The short course, which has been built to highly professional standards, offers no fewer than 12 challenges with distances ranging from 59 m to 105 m. These 12 challenges of the fine Par 3 golf course in the Amsterdamsche Veld near Erica (Southeast Drenthe) present a very special experience for both beginners and experienced golfers. This is due to the various challenging lines that have been devised from the teeing grounds to the six holes that are currently in play.
The Executive Course has been designed such that two completely different rounds of 9 holes can be played. The two rounds use 11 different greens and 18 different teeing positions. In total, this Par 60 course occupies 3200 m. It has been based on the future standard for a mid-length course. Demand for this length of course is ever growing as it meets the needs of those who find standard courses too long and/or time-consuming.
Green Meet*s Golf also offers a (partly covered) driving range, a pitching and chipping area with a practice bunker and a large putting green.
Green Meet*s Golf has a small, well-stocked golf shop offering a range of services. These include the testing new golf clubs and the purchase of all your golfing equipment. Specialist advice is available by appointment.
The course
The course is open every day and offers excellent opportunities for the advanced golfer. For the novice golfer, looking to familiarise himself or herself with the game or wishing to achieve the Dutch golfing proficiency certificate (GVB), Green Meet*s Golf offers a perfect grounding.
